| AUTOBIOGRAPHY Pastor Dennis E. Blalock is a
graduate of the American Baptist College, Jackson, Extension
and the Jacksonville Theological Seminary, Jacksonville,
Florida. He has received honorary degrees from the Tennessee
School of Religion, Memphis, Tennessee and Saint Thomas
Christian College, Jacksonville, Florida. He is the senior
pastor of twenty-five years of the New St. Luke Missionary
Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee and has focused most of
his attention on religious education, pastoral counseling
and program development. He received his certification of
counseling from the National Association of Marriage and
Family Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University,
Shreveport, Louisiana. He presently serves as President of
the Tennessee Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention,
Inc., is a Member of the Board of the National Baptist
Convention, U.S.A., Inc. and Commissioner of the Board of
Commissions of the Tennessee Humans Rights Commission.
Pastor Blalock has received many awards and honors including
recognition as one of the “Outstanding Young Men of
America”. He has been married to Mrs. Brenda K. Blalock for
22 years. They have 3 children, Jermaine, Kelsey and
Brittany. He strongly believes that his Christian ethics has
impacted his potential as a minister, husband, father and
